Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about Lanjoot.
Is Lanjoot really free?
Yes. Registering and playing are free. There are no ads and nothing to pay for inside the games.
Do you follow our school’s syllabus?
Yes. For schools, we build each chapter from your own units, word lists and topics, in the order you teach them. The questions are original, written from your material, and your school approves every lesson before children see it.
What age is it for?
Children aged 4 to 12. Each subject (Chinese, Math and English) has its own level from 4 to 12, which starts at your child’s age. After every few games, Lanjoot checks recent scores: great scores move the level up, and tough ones move it down gently. Every chapter and level shows what your child is learning.
How do I get help?
Message the Lanjoot App Developer on WhatsApp at +62 815-1300-4990.
Does it follow my child’s school books?
Lanjoot covers the topics most primary schools teach: everyday Chinese words and characters, Singapore-style Math (objects, then pictures, then numbers), and English phonics, spelling and grammar. With Lanjoot for Schools, a school can also add its own word lists.
Which devices does it work on?
Any phone, tablet or computer with a modern web browser. Handwriting works best on a touchscreen.
What do you do with my details?
We use them only to set up your family’s access and to contact you about Lanjoot. Please use your child’s first name or a nickname.
